Welcome to Tiaki Voyages Tours (“we,” “our,” “us”). These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of our website, travel services, and bookings. By using our website, making a reservation, or engaging in any service provided by Tiaki Voyages Tours, you acknowledge and agree to these Terms.

If you do not agree with any of these terms, please refrain from using our services or website.

Tiaki Voyages Tours is a registered travel and tourism service provider based in North Bengal, India. We specialize in organizing customized tour packages, transportation, accommodation bookings, and guided travel experiences.


2. Definitions

For the purpose of these Terms:

  • “Client,” “Traveler,” or “You” refers to any person using our website, booking a service, or participating in a tour.
  • “Service” or “Tour” refers to any travel-related arrangement, including but not limited to accommodation, transport, sightseeing, or tour package provided by Tiaki Voyages Tours.
  • “Booking” means the confirmed reservation made with us after full or partial payment.
  • “Vendor” or “Partner” refers to third-party service providers such as hotels, cab operators, guides, or local agencies affiliated with Tiaki Voyages Tours.

3. Acceptance of Terms

By confirming a booking or making a payment, you agree that you have read, understood, and accepted these Terms and Conditions, including our Privacy Policy and Cancellation Policy.

These Terms constitute a binding agreement between the traveler and Tiaki Voyages Tours.


4. Booking Policy

4.1 Booking Procedure

  • Bookings can be made via our website, email, or authorized agents.
  • A booking is confirmed only upon receipt of a deposit or full payment as specified by our team.
  • You will receive a confirmation email or invoice once your booking is finalized.

4.2 Documentation

Travelers are required to provide accurate personal details and valid identification (such as Aadhaar Card, Passport, or PAN) for bookings.
Any incorrect or incomplete information may result in cancellation or denial of service.

4.3 Travel Insurance

We recommend that all travelers purchase travel insurance to cover unforeseen events such as medical emergencies, trip cancellations, or lost belongings.


5. Payments and Pricing

5.1 Payment Terms

  • Payments can be made through bank transfer, UPI, online gateway, or other approved methods.
  • Full payment must be made before the start of the journey unless otherwise agreed in writing.

5.2 Pricing Policy

  • All prices mentioned on the website or quotations are subject to change based on availability, season, and vendor pricing.
  • Any increase in government taxes, fuel surcharges, or entry fees will be borne by the traveler.

5.3 Currency

All prices are quoted in Indian Rupees (INR) unless specified otherwise.


6. Modifications and Cancellations

6.1 Changes by the Client

If you wish to modify your booking (dates, destinations, or participants), please contact us in writing.
Modifications are subject to availability and may incur additional charges.

6.2 Cancellations by the Client

All cancellations must be communicated in writing. The Cancellation Policy on our website applies to all bookings.

6.3 Changes by Tiaki Voyages Tours

We reserve the right to alter, postpone, or cancel tours due to unavoidable circumstances such as weather conditions, political unrest, road closures, or natural disasters.
If such a situation occurs, we will offer an alternative date or an equivalent tour option — no monetary refunds will be issued.


7. Responsibilities of the Traveler

By booking a trip with Tiaki Voyages Tours, you agree to:

  • Follow local laws, customs, and ethical travel practices.
  • Respect local culture, environment, and communities.
  • Carry valid travel documents and adhere to health and safety guidelines.
  • Inform us of any medical conditions or special requirements before the trip.

Any behavior that endangers other travelers or violates our policies may result in immediate termination of services without refund.


8. Our Responsibilities

Tiaki Voyages Tours acts as an intermediary between you and various service providers such as hotels, transportation, and tour guides.
We ensure that all vendors are reputable and provide quality services, but we cannot be held liable for:

  • Acts or omissions by third-party vendors.
  • Delays or cancellations caused by weather, natural calamities, or political disturbances.
  • Loss, theft, injury, or damage during the course of travel.

We, however, promise to assist you in every way possible in case of emergencies or unforeseen issues during your trip.


9. Travel Documents and Permissions

It is the traveler’s responsibility to ensure they carry all required documents for their journey, including:

  • Valid ID proof for hotel check-ins.
  • Permits for restricted or protected areas (e.g., North Sikkim, Bhutan border).
    Tiaki Voyages Tours will guide and assist you but is not responsible for any denial of entry due to missing or invalid documents.

10. Health, Safety, and Conduct

  • Travelers should be in good health and physically fit for activities included in their itinerary.
  • Any pre-existing medical condition must be disclosed prior to booking.
  • Smoking, alcohol abuse, or illegal substance use during travel is strictly prohibited.
  • Travelers must follow the safety instructions of guides or drivers at all times.

11. Intellectual Property Rights

All content on our website — including logos, photographs, text, design, and promotional materials — is the property of Tiaki Voyages Tours.
Unauthorized copying, distribution, or reproduction of this material is strictly prohibited.


12. Limitation of Liability

Tiaki Voyages Tours shall not be held responsible for:

  • Delays, injuries, or losses caused by circumstances beyond our control.
  • Acts of negligence by travelers or third parties.
  • Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

In all circumstances, our total liability shall not exceed the total amount paid by the traveler for the booking in question.


13. Force Majeure

We are not liable for failure or delay in performing our obligations due to events beyond our control, including natural disasters, pandemics, wars, strikes, or government restrictions.


14. Dispute Resolution and Jurisdiction

In case of any dispute, both parties shall first attempt to resolve the matter amicably.
If no resolution is reached, disputes shall fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Siliguri, West Bengal, India.


15. Changes to Terms

Tiaki Voyages Tours reserves the right to update, amend, or modify these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice.
The revised Terms will be effective immediately upon posting on our website.
